A formal Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), and an associated permit from the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB), are required any time a construction project disturbs an acre of land or more. The SWPPP ensures that loose sediment and other pollutants associated with construction work do not mingle with storm water runoff and leave the site. Bedrock staff members will perform Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP) inspections that are required as part of the SWRCB permit, including, where needed, testing of the storm water runoff entering and exiting the construction site. Bedrock also prepares Erosion Control Plans, Dust Control Plans, and Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plans (SPCC). Together, these plans help ensure that, while our projects move forward, our community’s air, surface water, and groundwater resources are protected.
